A MultiTwitch Alternative That Plays More Than Twitch

Multi Video Player plays Twitch streams side by side like MultiTwitch, and it also takes Kick, YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion links in the same grid. It is free for 4 streams with no account, and Pro raises that to 32. The one thing it does not do is show Twitch chat inside the grid.

How to set it up with Twitch

  1. Open the player

Go to multivideo.io. There is nothing to install.

  2. Paste your channels

Add each twitch.tv, kick.com or YouTube link in the URL box and press Add.

  3. Arrange the grid

Pick a column count and drag streams into the order you want.

  4. Share the grid

Copy the grid as one link and send it to friends, so everyone opens the same streams.

Worth knowing

How it compares

MultiTwitch and Multistre.am handle Twitch only. TwitchTheater covers Twitch and YouTube with chat and VOD sync. ViewSync is YouTube only, built for syncing audio. ViewGrid takes up to 20 streams and has phone apps. Multi Video Player mixes the most sites, plays your own video files, and shares a grid as a link.

Where the others are better

If you need chat next to the streams, MultiTwitch and TwitchTheater show it in the same window. Here, chat stays on Twitch, so keep a Twitch tab open beside the grid.

Questions

Is this a free MultiTwitch alternative?

Yes. 4 streams at once cost nothing and need no account. Pro is $2.99 a month for up to 32.

Can I watch Kick and Twitch streams together?

Yes. Paste a link from each and they play in the same grid, each with its own sound you can mute.

Does it show Twitch chat?

No. The grid shows video only. Open chat in a Twitch tab beside it.
